Postpartum Doula Support

A helping hand when you need it the most.

Our Postpartum Support Services include being supported during your postpartum period once you are settled in at home with your new bundle of joy.

Services include, but are not limited to:

A free one-hour consultation to address the needs of the new family and to determine if we are a fit for your family.
Breastfeeding/Bottle-feeding support.
Assistance with the "first bath" for the infant.
Support with emotional and physical recovery after birth.
Caring for the newborn (diapering, feeding, soothing) so parents can spend time with other children or practice the self-care that is crucial for recovery.
Caring for other children in the home during the adjustment period.
Assistance with setting up and organizing the nursery and changing/feeding locations in the home.
Overnight care for the infant so parents have an opportunity to have a quality rest in between feedings.
Light housekeeping. (laundry, unloading dishwasher, tidying toys)
Light meal preparations. (healthy snacks, soups, tea/coffee)
Referrals to local resources and evidence-based information regarding recovery and early care of an infant.
Access to private lending library and resources.
Support for concerns such as mental health awareness, self-care, bonding with siblings and partner, struggles with breastfeeding, and sleep concerns.

Fee: Sliding Scale $18-$25/hr

Please Note:

We have a "no questions asked" policy for our sliding scale fees. We don't need to see your financial information. We trust that you will determine what you can afford to pay for this support. No matter where you choose on the scale, flexible payment arrangements can be made. Please contact me to discuss the options. No one will be turned away based on payment.

Overnight postpartum fees are $30/hour

Additional Travel Fees will be added for certain situations

outlined in the services contract.
